I have an informal and positive approach to teaching and think it's important to adapt lessons specifically to students and their needs. I guide, support and direct my students' learning as they develop their own skills. I also ensure to make my online lessons enjoyable as well as effective, since subjects like maths aren't always a favourite (although it was and is for me). I work hard to give students knowledge and understanding of the subject matter while being a kind and approachable ally to help to them achieve their goals.I've also worked as a Watch Leader on Tall Ships, working with people of all ages and ensuring their safety and wellbeing whilst teaching them at sea. I also run an art business from a studio which allows me to be flexible with my tutoring work and lesson timings.
