I have 13 years of maths tutoring experience, specialising in KS3, GCSE and A-level. In my time as a tutor I have supported students through their exams by teaching and reviewing mathematical concepts and practising and working on questions to hone students' exam techniques.More
My calm, patient and logical nature enables me to constructively support the learning of my students, whilst being sensitive to concepts that they may find challenging. I like to work at the pace of my student to give them the personal attention and help they may not specifically have in their classroom learning experience. This has afforded me much success in my role as a maths tutor where I tailor my students’ lessons according to each individual to help them fulfil their potential with many pupils I have taught going on to reach or exceed their target grades.I began tutoring whilst I was studying at university and I enjoyed it so much that I have continued tutoring whilst in a full time job working in finance for the NHS.
