Experience
I am a secondary school teacher with over 20 years teaching experience. I currently tutor Sociology up to degree level, Spanish at GCSE and English at GCSE and A-level. I have also taught English as a foreign language to adults (IELTS, TOEFL & Cambridge) and prepared students for Cambridge examinations (PET, FIRST and Cambridge Advance Online). I am familiar with all exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, WJEC and Cambridge and therefore recognise the current academic demands placed upon students.More
Students often come to lessons lacking in confidence or worried about what will be expected of them. You will come to enjoy our sessions. The most important thing is to put you at ease as soon as possible, then to find out what it is that YOU want. To help you achieve this I employ all kinds of strategies to help you learn and remember. You'll be amazed at how many ways there are to learn and you'll find that these will be useful for you right across the curriculum. You will be able to walk into your exam confident that you can perform to the best of your ability and you will be inspired to love the subject too.Availability (UK time)
