Experience
I have worked as an A-level Chemistry teacher for three years before leaving classroom teaching to bring up my young family. Over the last twelve years I have worked as a Chemistry tutor - both online and face to face - tutoring over 30 students on a 1:1 basis. I have a variety of teaching experience across all key stages (from Infant school through to A-level) which has enabled me to develop a range of strategies to suit the needs of the learner. I have a patient and calm approach to teaching and have a passion for teaching A-level Chemistry. I understand it is a challenging and at times complex subject and I aim to develop students confidence in the subject matter as well as grow the skills they need to succeed. My lessons tend to be focused on past paper exam questions as this is an excellent way at identifying gaps in knowledge and any misconceptions as well as improving exam technique.Availability (UK time)
