As a teacher, parent, school governor and trainer I have always enjoyed helping others to achieve their potential.Working in a City College and in the community, I have taught lots of students. Many of my students have been aged between 14 to 18, but I have also taught many adults, working as teaching assistants or wanting to access a University course, or just wanting to up-skill.
A large proportion of my students in recent years have been educated outside of the UK and this has helped me to understand many different techniques in Maths, not just in the UK, but around the World.
I am always actively seeking to improve my own Maths skills and pass on knowledge to students.
I have taught students studying both foundation and higher level Maths, as well as A Level students and functional skills in workshops. Many of my students in recent years have also been on the spectrum and I have had to adapt techniques and resources to assist them.

In this very quickly changing, and confusing times perhaps tuition has not been your first priority. However teachers are already aware that the next academic year from September will be one of the most challenging ever, as students will have had disruption over a long period of time and will have to re learn topics in all subjects.From a Math perspective if you can start as soon as possible offering a strict timetable of math study along with regular challenges, it will help immensely to achieve in 2021.
How I can help is changing, but I can still offer one to one support with online tuition, and complete a personalised plan that keeps students engaged whilst they have extra time on their hands. As I don't have to travel to students houses I can offer more than I did previously and as I have been using online tuition for 18 months I also have the experience to help guide you through the vastly growing online resources for Maths.
