Head of Maths for many years, a successful private tutor for over 30 years and a secondary maths teacher for 28 years. I have recently taken early retirement from my position as head of the maths department, so I am very familiar with a wide range of maths schemes and exam boards. I have 5 years experience as an online maths tutor for KS2, KS3, GCSE and IGCSE. I offer a free trial lesson for all my online students. My online tuition has proven very successful. As well as regular weekly tuition, I also offer short revision courses (2 or 3 weeks) and one-off revision sessions to prepare for exams. I can tailor the online lessons to suit the needs of the student.I am married with 2 grown up children and I love helping students to reach their potential and be proud of what they have achieved.

My daughter was lacking in confidence in maths in the run up to starting her GCSE programme. Ken has been really helpful in building up her confidence and he goes through each topic in line with her syllabus so she feels more prepared for class. His approach is methodical to each topic and is very structured. Ken is a great teacher.
