I am a very experienced and enthusiastic teacher of French. I have taught French in secondary school and also to feeder primary schools for over 15 years and have also enjoyed being head of a successful languages department for 5 years. I have a lot of experience teaching pupils at GCSE, AS and A-level and am familiar with the demands and challenges that students face.I have also worked as an examiner for the GCSE speaking exam for a national examinations board for 5 years, and as a senior examiner for 2 years so far. I have enjoyed doing online tutoring for over 2 years.

I am passionate about my subject and over the years have spent a lot of time either studying, working or holidaying in France as well as Switzerland. Over the years, I have also received very positive feedback about my teaching from both students as well as other teachers and this has been reflected in my students' achievements.I have cut down on teaching due to family commitments but am very keen to use my skills and expertise to help students who would like more support in their language-learning. I am approachable and enthusiastic and have a wealth of experience teaching children and young adults of a wide range of abilities.
